Happy To Be A Townie...
On Monday, March 15, 2010, it dawned on me that I’ve never been happier to live in the Town of Sheboygan. Quick clarification for those who may not know; in Wisconsin, there are quite a few places that have both City’s and Town’s. In Sheboygan County there are several with both distinctions (Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth), and the respective City’s provide their own services such as Public Works, Police, Fire & so on, while the Town’s rely on the County to provide most of their service needs. At any rate, back to my original point…I’m a townie now, which means in my time of need, the County will come to my rescue. And after watching the way the City of Sheboygan’s Common Council has been behaving as of late, thank goodness all I have to do is report on them, not rely on their for my well-being.
