Fire Pro Wrestling Newsline, November 30, 2007

Greetings folks & welcome to the Official Fire Pro Wrestling Newsline for November 30th, 2007. It's the last day of November, but there is still great Fire Pro Wrestling action set to take place before 2007 is in the books. Fire Pro Wrestling presents "Defiant" live at the Fire Pro Wrestling Arena, located on the Impact Christian Church Campus, 401 W. 82nd Place, Merrillville, Indiana. The "Defiant" card is starting to take shape, so lets take a look at what we know already:

-The current reigning Fire Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, "The Professor of Old School" Cade Lee will defend his title against long-time nemesis "Diehard" Steve Szoke. Szoke defeated Lee in a non-title match in October at "Lethal Lottery" which earned him this title shot. Can Szoke finally wrestle the title from the hands of Lee & his conniving cohort Lynn Marie?

-The new Fire Pro Wrestling 24/7 Hard Target Champion, Gilbert Lewis faces an uphill climb to remain champion in his maiden voyage as the champ. Lewis must defend his title against not one, not two, not even three; but five other men in a 6-Man Scramble match! Lewis will be tested by Fuzion, "Hot Bod" Shawn Davis, Prince Ali, and former 24/7 Hard Target Champions, Christopher Kent & "Flawless" Dave Allen. Allen recently stated that he guarantees a victory in this match. However, if he loses, he has vowed to leave Fire Pro Wrestling.

-"Da Juggernaught" Osyris has been taking some much needed time off to rest up some nagging injuries, but we have received word through the office of the new Fire Pro Wrestling Director of Competition "The Big Jack" John Burke that Osyris will return to the ring at "Defiant." Who Osyris may be competing against remains up in the air at this point, but whoever it is faces a stiff challenge from arguably the best big men in the industry today.

Moving on to some news in a very light news week:

*The ramifications of those major announcements from "Ground Zero" are stating to be felt. First, rumor has it that Tristin Hayze is absolutely seething at having been suspended by "The Big Jack" John Burke & he is out for some revenge. Hayze is a very dangerous man, so I can't even begin to speculate on what kind of impact Hayze could try to make.

*If you have yet to check out Fire Pro TV on YouTube, what are you waiting for? Outside of coming to a live Fire Pro event, which is still the best way to experience what we have to offer, Fire Pro TV is your chance to see what Fire Pro is all about. Current matches online include the 4-way tag team match & Chase "The Face" Richards vs. Angus McDuff from "Trial By Fire" on September 29th, 2007. If you haven't done so yet, make it a point to check us out on YouTube at Fire Pro TV.

*Some people have e-mailed asking about when Fire Pro will make it's television debut & on what channel. What I can tell you is we have submitted our first taping & that we will have the details with the network sorted out soon. When I learn of all the particulars, I'll make sure you know.

*With the announcement that former WWF/E Intercontinental Champion The Honky Tonk Man will be making his Fire Pro debut February, Fire Pro has been getting ticket & media credential requests from all over the Midwest & we even received an inquiry from as far away as San Diego, California. This is indeed a very exciting time to be a part of Fire Pro.

*I know I've been promising you that the Fire Pro Podcast will be launching momentarily, but due to unforeseen technical difficulties, that launch has been delayed. The venture is not dead & I'm looking to make this happen before 2008. The Official Fire Pro Wrestling Podcast will be available on myspace at Fire Pro Podcast as well as on iTunes. Thanks for your patience.

*You don't have to wait until a Fire Pro show to get great Fire Pro Wrestling merchandise. If you want to get the best merchandise around, ranging from t-shirts in all shapes & sizes (including children's sizes) to DVD's of our events, and avoid the long lines at the live events email fireprodiehard@hotmail.com as soon as possible. It's the best way to place an order. This will ensure the item you want isn't sold out come live event day!

*If you've ever wanted to get into wrestling, the time is now. Opportunities exist for those interested in joining Fire Pro Wrestling. Want to be a wrestler or a referee? Here is your chance, contact us at fireprodiehard@hotmail.com if you'd like more info or to get your wrestling career started.

*"Defiant" will be your last chance to vote for the inaugural Fire Pro Wrestling Torch Awards. The Torch awards will be presented in a ceremony open to everyone on January 26th, 2008. That will do it for this week's edition of the Official Fire Pro Wrestling Newsline. Next week, I'll have the preview & my predictions for "Defiant."

We return to action on December 8th as Fire Pro Wrestling presents "Defiant" at the Fire Pro Arena, located on the Impact Christian Church Campus, 401 W. 82nd Place, Merrillville, Indiana. Tickets are just $10 for adults & $6 for children. Doors open at 6 P.M. with bell time at 7 P.M.

However, as this is Fire Pro Wrestling's annual Toys for Tots show, anyone who brings a new, unopened toy to donate will only be charged $5 for admission. So bring a toy & donate it to a very worthy cause. This is an issue that is very near & dear to everyone at Fire Pro, so please help us help make the holidays memorable for the kids who need it the most.

This will be the last live event for 2007, so make your plans to join us & help celebrate a great 2007, while looking forward to 2008. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me directly at firepro.doublej@gmail.com.

See you ringside,
